An 83-year-old St. Johns County woman reported missing by her landlord has been in Daytona Beach and is safe, authorities said.
Norma Schwartz was last sighted about a week ago walking along Masters Drive toward Florida 16. She was reported missing Tuesday.
Detectives learned the 95-pound Schwartz was at her bank Aug. 13. After publicizing a missing persons report Tuesday, detectives were notified by Daytona Beach police who said they made contact with Schwartz Aug. 14 and that she was institutionalized for evaluation.
