A stay-at-home father, a retiree who’s a fiscal hawk, a veteran of public office and a nonprofit leader with a campaign war chest are vying for Duval County School Board’s District 3 seat.
The candidates are Andrew Cordek, Jack Daniels, Suzanne Jenkins and Ashley Smith Juarez. The seat is held by W.C. Gentry, who is leaving after one term.
