Taking care of some media duties, Kerry Washington was spotted paying a visit to “Good Morning America” in New York City today (April 5).
The “For Colored Girls” actress was in the house to talk about her brand new show “Scandal,” and she explained the whole premise behind the series.
Kerry shared, “The show is actually inspired by a real life woman named Judy Smith who is a crisis management expert in Washington DC... everybody from Monica Lewinsky to Michael Vick, she’s really covered it all.”
“My character, like Judy, in her professional life, she’s smart and powerful and really empowered. But in her personal life she’s vulnerable and a mess. She’s really not as put-together in her personal life.”
